James has worked in the specialty insurance market for over 15 years on both the broking and underwriting sides before co-founding Verde. He differentiates Verde’s underwriting through an enhanced focus on sustainability, supported by his completion of the Business Sustainability Management Course run by the University of Cambridge and his qualification as a Certified Cryptocurrency Expert with the Blockchain Council.

James has over 20 years of experience in the Professional and Financial Risks market and is a co-founder of Verde. Throughout his career, he has held senior underwriting and leadership roles, developing extensive expertise across Management Liability and broader Financial Lines. His passion for sustainability led him to complete the Business Sustainability Management Course with the University of Cambridge, and he remains a committed advocate for advancing sustainable practices within the insurance industry.

Holly has 5 years of experience as a financial lines broker prior to joining Verde. She has developed a great understanding of the specialist products and the marketplace in which Verde operates. Her technical background, existing relationships and attention to detail is a major asset to the team.
